ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has decided to scrutinize the election expenses reports submitted by successful candidates in the general elections.
The process of scrutiny will take 90 days to be completed wby the political wing. If it is not completed within this time frame, the reports will be considered authentic.
As per ECP rules, candidates were not allowed to exceed Rs4 million for national assembly seats while the provincial assembly imposed a Rs2 million limit.
