CHARSADDA: Police arrested six proclaimed offenders and 14 suspects during search and strike operations in various areas of the district on Tuesday, official sources said.
Addressing a press conference, Station House Officer (SHO) Gul Malik Khan, said that Prang Police arrested six proclaimed offenders including a father and his son during the raids. The arrested proclaimed offenders were identified as Qaiser, Masood, Zewar Shah, Ismail, Ibrahim and Ajab.
The arrested men were wanted to the district police in various cases of a heinous nature, according to the official.
He told reporters that the police had also arrested 14 other suspects from various areas in the jurisdiction of Prang Police Station. He added that eight pistols were also recovered from the possession of the arrested suspects.
He stressed on the residents of the area to stay vigilant and cooperate with the law enforcers to purge the area of outlaws and criminals.
