ISLAMABAD: Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) proposed a Rs 5.26/litre relief in prices of petroleum on Friday.
OGRA sent a detailing summary to the Finance Ministry of a proposed reduction in petroleum prices. The reductions include Rs 0.65 paisa for high speed diesel, Rs 0.13 paisa in kerosene oil and Rs 0.55 paisa in light diesel oil.
The authority requested for fixing the prices of petrol at Rs 82.82, high speed diesel at Rs 99.10, Kerosene oil at Rs 67.59 and light diesel at Rs 65.85.
The Ministry of Finance will issue its final decision on March 31 after reviewing the summary, after which the new price rates may be implemented from April 1.
